Currently we have three highly revered dental\nhygienists working at Craigentinny\nDental Care<\/strong>, each chosen for their unique set of skills and experiences.\nOur dental hygiene treatments we offer are cosmetic solutions that target the\nvisible signs of deterioration or neglect on a patient’s teeth caused by\nsmoking, drinking coffee, tea or red wine or any general signs of\ndiscolouration. Through\nour scale and polish treatment, patients can have any visible signs of neglect\nimmediately eradicated from their teeth through a method of power-cleaning\nthem, and can walk away with not just a squeaky-clean feeling in their mouths,\nbut also a minimised risk of any further detrimental damage to their teeth\nhappening as a result. Our hygienists are also available for general\nconsultations about how patients can maintain a healthy set of teeth, and\nnumerous helpful home remedies and tips to ensure their smiles are as bright as\nthey can be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another procedure which is on offer here at Craigentinny Dental Care<\/strong>, is the\ninstallation of discreet dental braces, such as our \u2018Six Month Smiles\u2019\ntreatment. This is an alternative to conventional fused braces, often referred\nto as \u2018train-tracks\u2019, which are visible metal brackets,  often uncomfortable as well as damaging to a\npatient’s outward appearance and as such their self-esteem. \u2018Six Month Smiles\u2019\nis similar to conventional braces, however the brackets are constructed from\nsee-through plastics and because of this are far less visible from the outside.\nTreatment of this sort is largely favoured by teenagers and young adults over\nmetal braces as it affords them the ability to undertake essential dental\nalignment, without attracting any unwanted attention from peers or colleagues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dental sedation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to\nundertake dental sedation, patients must first conduct a short medical history\nconsultation, to ensure that the procedure can be carried out safely.
