From a single dentist in
1989, we have gradually grown to a team of 4 dentists and 2
hygienists who are supported by our dental nurses, receptionists
and back office staff.
Although our dental
practice has grown significantly we still believe in personal care and
ensure that at every scheduled visit you see your own dentist and
hygienist. This means that you won't have to constantly re explain
yourself to everyone you meet and that your dedicated team will get to
know you and your dental health in great detail.
We pride ourselves on the
fact that our dentists don't change every
year . Dr Booth has been with the practice since it opened, Dr Hendrie
since 1996 and Dr Kilroy since 2004.

| John
qualified from Edinburgh University in 1987. He has been admitted to
the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners by examination, this is
an additional qualification that marks out a certain standard of
achievement in the care of his patients. John has particular
interests in preventative dentistry, children’s dental care and
cross infection control. John is the longest serving dentist
on the team, having cared for patients of the Craigentinny Dental
Practice since the practice opened 19 years ago. Being one of the
Practice Owners, he has made a long-term commitment to the practice
so that he will be available to provide dental care for the benefit
of his patients long into the future. John is married with three
children and lives just outside Edinburgh. |

Fraser
qualified from Glasgow University in 1995 and is the other
Practice Owner. Like John, Fraser has made a commitment to the
practice and has built long-term relationships with his patients
over the last 14 years. He has passed the Membership of the Faculty
of General Dental Practitioners Examination . He is a member of the
Student Clinicians of the American Dental Association, British
Dental Association, the Association of Dental Implantology and has
studied at the Pankey Institute. Fraser’s special interests
include Dental Implantology, Preventative dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry and Information Technology. Fraser
is married with one young son and lives in Edinburgh. In his free
time enjoys cycling, and surfing |

David is
a Glasgow graduate and joined the team at Craigentinny Dental
Practice in Edinburgh in 2004 just prior to our move to the current
location. Ever popular with his patients David has a keen interest
in Endodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry and short term orthodontic
treatment such as the Inman Aligner and actively participates in the
development and training of the whole team. David is married and
lives in Edinburgh. |

Alison

Alison
is our practice hygienist and graduated from Edinburgh Dental
Institute. Alison’s enthusiasm for excellent dental health and
widely famed ability to talk for Britain, have both been
instrumental in her achieving excellent results in partnership with
many of our patients. After joining us in 200, Alison rapidly became a key member of
the care team and
is responsible for a good deal of the preventative dental care that
we provide whilst also being responsible for looking after your gum
health in particular, in co-ordination with your dentist. She is
also trained and qualified to take x-rays, impressions, provide
fissure sealants and temporary dressings. |

Jill Silens EDH

After an absence of nearly 10 years, many of our existing
patients were delighted to see Jill return to the team in 2009. After training as a
Dental hygienist she worked in some high profile London practices before
returning home to Edinburgh after the arrival of her son. Jill
is experienced in the care of patients with dental implants.
