Teeth can be lost ant any
age, often due to circumstances beyond your control. If you have one or

- which is removable and for that reason not usually at the top of many

A bridge
- this is a way of attaching a false tooth to one or both of the teeth
beside the gap. Not everyone is suitable for a bridge but until
the arrival of dental implants this was really the only option if you
did not want a denture. The Main concern with bridges is that very
often the neighbouring tooth or teeth need to be drilled down or
prepared to accept the bridge. Many patients and dentists are not
entirely comfortable with carrying this out, particularly if the
neighbouring teeth are healthy and unfilled.
Implants are considered by many in the dental profession to offer significant advantages over the other two options.
